East Coast Elite League second showcase to be played at Beantown Fall Classic in Boston, MA!

As the East Coast Elite League (ECEL) gears up for its second showcase of the season, this weekend brings a great opportunity for the teams and players.  ECEL is excited to announce that the games for this weekend will be played in conjunction with the highly touted Beantown Fall Classic Tournament. This will allow for ECEL teams to have the highest visibility possible, while making the event even more competitive.

ECEL teams will play each other in round robin and winners from their round robin will advance to the playoffs and playing against other teams in the Beantown Tournament, including multiple top 20 nationally ranked programs from all over North America!

The Beantown was founded in 2001 by a group of NHL Scouts and the Boston Junior Bruins staff, Beantown Tournaments provides extremely high end exposure to go along with the top notch competition. The newly created USPHL National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) will be taking part in the event as well, providing ECEL players the chance to watch top Junior programs from out east.

“The 21 members of ECEL are going to be in for a treat” stated ECEL League Director JP Withington.  “To have our league placed in the Beantown Classic is an excellent opportunity to have so many good teams and hockey people in one place.”  With the growing popularity and strength of the ECEL and the elite level competition it brings, we are able to have this wonderful opportunity at the highly viewed Beantown event.  Our mission is to keep setting the bar higher and events like these attract scouts from every level for maximum exposure to our league members.”

Beantown games will be played at the New England Sports Center.  Located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, the New England Sports Center is a two-story, eight-rink ice-skating facility that serves as the home of all Beantown Events throughout the year.
