Grammy Award nominee Jimmy Green to perform National Anthem at All Star Games!

Guilford, Conn., Grammy Award Nominee Jimmy Greene to play National Anthem for ECEL All Star Games

On December 8th, Jimmy Greene, Grammy Award Nominee American jazz saxophonist, will join the East Coast Elite League for the playing of the National Anthem.  Greene, who was born and raised in Connecticut, is very involved with hockey as his son Isaiah is a goaltender for the Elite Hockey Program Bantam Minor team.

“Having Jimmy playing the Star Spangled Banner will be a cool touch,” stated Commissioner JP Withington. “ He is a very talented artist and a hockey enthusiast. He was ecstatic when we asked him to play for us and his enthusiasm for what he does will no doubt translate to a great performance.”

As a highly talented saxophonist, Jimmy plays all over the region at various venues and is a professor at Western Connecticut State University.
