ECEL Fall Classic is Released!

Guilford, Conn,. - The East Coast Elite League is excited to start the 2019-20 season opening with the ECEL Fall Classic October 11-14, 2019 in Hingham, MA and Worcester, MA.
This year event will feature 43 teams playing across three different age groups and two different divisions at the 18U, 16U and 15U levels. "We are excited about this year's Fall Classic as this anticipates to be one of the best events yet." said ECEL Commissioner Peter Alden.
The upcoming fall classic will be the first event for ten new members that have joined our league during the offseason. New members include the Mercer Chiefs who will field a team in each age group and each division. Also entering the league, are the Wenatchee Wild, Texas Warriors, and the Northeast Generals who will have teams at the U18 and U16 levels. While, Ontario Hockey Academy, Tahoe Prep Academy, Westlake Volts, NJ Devils, Seattle Sno-Kings, and NC Force will also join the ECEL at specific levels.
Throughout the weekend, we will also be welcoming two guest teams at the U16 level. The NH Monarchs and Bishops College will play in the U16 Premier Division. They also will both face off against each other that weekend as well. "It's always a great experience to welcome guests into our league," said Alden. “It allows for them to get a look at the competition of the league, and to see maybe if they would want to join the league someday down the road.”

Founded in 2013, the East Coast Elite League is a five-weekend showcase series that will provide maximum exposure for its member organizations and their players, by playing in top venues, in ideal scouting locations. Spread across the U14, U16 and U18 divisions and represented by several of the top hockey organizations across the country, the ECEL is the premier showcase series in the United States, unmatched in its format and exposure opportunities.
