Guilford, Conn., - The East Coast Elite League season is officially under way as the Fall Classic is now in the books. It was a highly successful event with a high amount of NHL and NCAA exposure at all levels. Some teams started their ECEL seasons on fire, with the Ontario Hockey Academy (18U Premier), Westlake Volts (18U Showcase) and NJ Devils (16U Premier) going undefeated at the Fall Classic. The remaining teams in the league, however, are looking to knock the unbeaten teams from their podium at our Holiday Classic Showcase from November 30th - December 2nd in Connecticut.

All-Star Announcements

The ECEL Board of Directors is happy to announce that this year’s All-Star Game will take place at the Tsongas Center, home of the three-time Hockey East Tournament Champion UMass Lowell Riverhawks. The two-day event will take place January 9-10 during our Winter Classic weekend. “This is a great choice for our league All-Star Game,” said ECEL Commissioner Peter Alden. “Since 2010, UMass Lowell has been one of the most consistent programs throughout the nation, so the fit of our all-star game and the Tsongas Center was a no-brainer.”
