Guilford, Conn., -  Cade Littler of the Wenatchee Wilderness U16 team was selected in the first round of the USHL Phase 1 Draft on Monday, May 4th.

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders head coach Mark Carlson said, “Cade is a big right-shot forward.  “I think he is 6-foot-1, 6-2 already. He can play center, can play wing, has very good hockey sense, can make plays. Really competes, really dedicated, comes from a great family. A coach’s son, has a great mom, just all-around (good kid) on and off the ice. Really happy about Cade. He is going to be a very good RoughRider.” -

Cade Littler was drafted third overall by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Last year, he was one of the most productive players last season for the Wilderness. He put up 27 points, including eight points at the ECEL Playoffs leading his team to the ECEL Cup. Littler also played in the BCHL for Wenatchee as a 15-year-old this past season.
