Ryan Healey Drafted in the First Round of Phase I in USHL Draft!

Guilford, Conn, Ryan Healey from the Boston Advantage 15U team was selected in the first round of the USHL Phase 1 Draft on Monday, May 4th. 

Ryan Healey was taken seventh overall by the Sioux Falls Stampede. Healey last year played at both the U15 and U18 levels for the Boston Advantage. Playing 18 games across both levels last year, Healey put up 14 points along the blueline. An All-Star at the U16 level, Healey was one of the bright spots for the Boston Advantage last season. 

Sioux Falls are the reigning Clark Cup Champions as they beat the Chicago Steel in five games last season. The three-time Clark Cup Champions, this season, had 53 ex-players playing college hockey. To go along with the 29 players that have played in the NHL, including Thomas Vanek, and Stanley Cup Champions Chad LaRose, and TJ Oshie.
