The East Coast Elite League Add New Members!

New Haven, Conn., – The East Coast Elite League (ECEL) is pleased to announce the acceptance of four new members for the 2016-2017 season, the Boston Advantage, California Wildcats, Team Maryland and Boston Jr Rangers!

"The Wildcats Hockey Club is honored to be accepted into the prestigious East Coast Elite League.  Providing opportunities for exposure, advancement and elite level competition for our Tier 1 players at the Midget age groups is an essential component of our programs' values, in assisting players with achieving their goals and dreams as hockey players and young men.  Acceptance into the ECEL combined with our focus on delivering a daily world class development environment, in line with USA Hockey's American Development Model, puts the Wildcats players in position to pursue all of their dreams in our great sport." Said Wildcats President, Ben Frank.

"Team Maryland is thrilled to be a part of the ECEL.  Our participation in both the AYHL and ECEL will provide our players the top competition and exposure on the east coast....The ECEL is a great opportunity for our local players to compete in showcase in scouting hotbeds against top competition." Said Team Maryland President, Mike Weiss.
 

“We are very excited to accept both these top notch tier 1 programs into the ECEL,” said ECEL co-founder Peter Alden. “All these programs will be great additions and will bring highly competitive teams to our events. Founded in 2014, the East Coast Elite League is a five-weekend showcase series that will provide maximum exposure for its member organizations and their players, by playing in top venues, in ideal scouting locations. Spread across the U14, U16 and U18 divisions and represented by several of the top hockey organizations across the country, the ECEL is the premier showcase series in the United States, unmatched in its format and exposure opportunities.
