The East Coast Elite League (ECEL) has announced that the Boston Advantage have been accepted as new member of the ECEL 18U and 16U Divisions for the 2016-17 season.

Boston Advantage is a proven powerhouse when it comes to New England hockey. This addition stacks the ECEL line-up of teams for the 2016-17 season. The current membership stands at 10 different organizations and 17 teams.

“The Boston Advantage joining the ECEL is fantastic.  The ECEL has worked with the Boston Advantage in the past as they were a guest in our New Hampshire Showcase last season.  With the proven success of the Advantage in the Massachusetts Elite 9 league, we are glad to add them to our resume of teams.  The Boston Advantage is known for their hardworking and skilled teams who always compete and are very successful.  We look forward to having the Advantage in the ECEL,” said Program Director, Peter Alden.

The Advantage organization, which is located just outside of Boston, Massechusetts, has a strong tradition of producing high caliber hockey players.  Along with the 18U and 16U Midget Tier I teams that will compete in the ECEL, the Advantage also has a strong showing at the younger levels. The Advantage has a great reputation of advancing hockey players to the Junior and NCAA levels.
