The ECEL Travels North for The Canadian Classic!

The East Coast Elite League will take it's first trip across the border into Canada!

New Haven, CT - 

The East Coast Elite League heads north for the ECEL Canadian Classic on October 20 - 22, 2016. This weekend, 9 Canadian teams & 8 American teams will face off at the Vaughan Sports Village in Vaughan (Concord), ON. for the showcase.

ECEL Co-Founder Peter Alden had this to say about the event: "We are really looking forward to this showcase. The Fall showcase earlier this month was fantastic. We drew scouts from all over the Northeast including Junior programs, NCAA & NHL. The exposure our players will get in Canada will be another great opportunity for them. This showcase will also have a significant impact on who gets selected for the ECEL All-Star Game. Best of luck to all of the players and teams participating in the Canadian Classic!"

Founded in 2013, the East Coast Elite League is a four-weekend showcase series that will provide maximum exposure for its member organizations and their players, by playing in top venues, in ideal scouting locations. Spread across the U16 and U18 divisions and represented by several of the top hockey organizations across the country, the ECEL is the premier showcase series in the United States & Canada, unmatched in its format and exposure opportunities.
