Chris Schnabel to Announce ECEL All Star Games at Harvard University!

Guilford, Conn., - The East Coast Elite League is excited to announce that Boston Red Sox & Harvard University sports editor, writer & broadcaster will be announcing the 2016-17 All Star Games held at Harvard University!

Chris is an award-winning director and University of New Haven Alum who has never shied away from the spotlight. Since arriving to New Haven, he has made a major impact on the universities broadcasts. He was the Director, Producer, Writer and Editor for the campus talk show "UNH Late Night Charge". He went on to host and co-host the show as he furthered his career. Chris had one of the top student shows on University of New Haven Radio,WNHU, where he worked with names such as Rev Run, Jalen Rose, Hannibal Buress, Verine White of Earth, Wind and Fire, Waka Flocka Flame and Mobb Deep. He was promoted to host the number one show on WNHU "the UNHStable" due to his radio success. Sports are his specialty as he was the lead play-caller for the New Haven athletic programs in his time there. He also won a student award for excellence as a director for the live football broadcasts. In the summer of 2014 he worked for the Hudson Valley Renegades, the minor league team for the Tampa Bay Rays where he got an inside look at how the show is run. He also found work as the sports editor for the Charger Bulletin and covered University of Florida sports from spring 2011-fall 2012. In his time at Florida, he was chosen to do an exclusive, one on one, interview with now Houston Astros outfielder Preston Tucker. Furthermore, he was a part of a group to do a season long interview for the third overall pick in 2012 MLB draft Mike Zunino. In 2015 he helped co-create the 'Banner Sports Journal' with some of his colleagues for New Haven. Currently, Chris is an employee of the Boston Red Sox and Harvard University.

Founded in 2013, the East Coast Elite League is a four-weekend showcase series that will provide maximum exposure for its member organizations and their players, by playing in top venues, in ideal scouting locations. Spread across the U16 and U18 divisions and represented by several of the top hockey organizations across the country, the ECEL is the premier showcase series in the United States, unmatched in its format and exposure opportunities.
