Two ECEL Players Drafted in Phase I of 2017 USHL Draft!

The East Coast Elite League would like to congratulate Connor Tait, a 2001 center from Team Maryland on being selected in the first phase of the 2017 USHL Draft! Connor was selected by the Madison Capitols in the sixth round, 85th overall. Connor was an selected to the 16U All Star Game this past season & committed to Quinnipiac University during Championship Weekend.

The second East Coast Elite League player to get selected in phase one of the 2017 USHL Draft was Albert Pison. The Newbridge Academy forward played on the U18 team this past season in the ECEL. Albert was selected in the tenth round of the first phase of the 2017 USHL Draft, 146th overall.

Congratulations to both of these players and we look forward to seeing more ECEL players appear on USHL draft lists in the future!
