Guilford, Conn. - The East Coast Elite League stopped in Connecticut for the first time this season where it called Yale University's Ingalls Rink & Northford Ice Pavilion home for the weekend. Friday morning at Yale's Ingalls Rink, the best players that the League has to offer went toe to toe in front of an energetic crowd consisting of friends, family, and multiple NCAA Division 1 coaches! The opening ceremonies before both games featured a ceremonial puck drop from Yale's current Men's Hockey Coach, Keith Allain, in addition to an incredible rendition of the National Anthem by two time Grammy Award nominee, Jimmy Green. Professional photographer, Rob Rasmussen was on site to capture both of the All Star Games. The photos are available online for viewing & purchase by clicking HERE.

"The Holiday Classic & All Star Games were fantastic." Stated ECEL Commissioner, JP Withington. "The players in the All Star Games were professional & really seemed to enjoy the event. It is very rewarding to see an event like this come together after seeing what the ECEL staff had done to prepare. We are extremely excited to see what the ECEL playoffs have in store come February as there are no unbeaten teams left in either division. The titles are up for grabs and this should make for an entertaining finale to the 2017-18 season."
