Guilford, Conn., - On January 11th, we are excited to welcome special guest, Courtney Cox, a reporter for New England Sports Network, (NESN), will be dropping the ceremonial game puck at the East Coast Elite League All Star Games at Northeastern University.

Courtney Cox is a digital host and reporter for NESN. Originally from Boston, she attended Boston College where she captained the BC cheerleaders as a junior before giving up cheerleading her senior year to channel her enthusiasm into being the in-game video board host at Boston College football and basketball games.

Cox is an avid sports fan and has reported on many professional sports teams such as the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics.

“Having Courtney Cox take time out of her busy schedule to be part of the weekend is special,” stated ECEL President Peter Alden.  “Cox is a very prominent figure in the Boston sports world and the players will be lucky to have her at the event.  The 2019 All Star weekend has the potential to be one of the highlights our league has seen yet.”

Cox will be dropping the game puck at the ECEL All-Star Game January 11, 2019 at the Matthews Arena at Northeastern University.
